David Goldberg, President, joined Choice Employee Benefits in 2005, after 8 years in financial services and a 20+ year career in restaurant and retail management. His experience in those fields, and hands – on approach, has enhanced our customer service model, and our business relationships.
David works with small businesses to establish their employee benefits offering, and handles the entire new business and renewal process from start to finish. He also helps with supplemental voluntary products. David will be the owner of Choice as of January 1, 2017.
David has lived in the Buffalo area most of his life, and has strong ties to Western New York. He is a member of the Board of Trustees at Temple Beth Zion, and is also active with other charitable organizations.
Melissa brings her passion for employee benefits and health insurance to Choice Employee Benefits Group as Vice President of Sales. Melissa joined us in 2017 with almost a decade of industry experience. Her experience in the industry started in an operational capacity, which gave her a unique and in-depth understanding of the inner workings of the insurance industry and plans. From there, she gradually moved to an advisor role, using her extensive knowledge to guide her clients. Sometimes creating an employee friendly benefit offering within a company’s budget is like walking a tightrope. Melissa’s ability to understand and implement this delicate balance is key to her clients. Her expertise paired with her concierge style of service, makes her a true strategic partner and advocate for her clients.
Born and raised in the WNY area, Melissa is an active member of her community. She is actively involved with several charities including Camp Good Days and Special Times. Melissa and her husband were recently inducted into Camp Good Day’s Ring of Honor for their continued dedication to the organization.
Howard started in the insurance business in 1972, licensed in Life and Health. Through the years, as a trusted advisor in the benefits arena, he has grown the business to include a comprehensive spectrum of services that covers every aspect of the Human Resource cycle. This stems from Howard’s extensive knowledge of how the industry has changed and the ability to anticipate future changes, needs and growth. Howard has earned the trust and dedication of numerous companies that rely on his experience, education and genuine concern for their success. Howard actively retired from Choice Employee Benefits at the end of 2016.
Choice started offering full service employee benefits and related services in August, 2000. They take pride in their work and knowledge and are dedicated to their customers.
